Maya is the Director of Hadithi C.I.C, Founder of Hadithi.
'Being the daughter of double migrants, I have a curiosity around the continuities and discontinuities of the migrant experience.
My heritage spans across three continents, and upheaval and movement are written into my family’s collective experience. With this journeying, emerges narratives of belonging, settling and resettling.
Through Hadithi, I carve out a space to explore, expose and reflect upon some of these stories. Often these histories are hidden, and sometimes concealed. I firmly believe these stories need to be revealed. I am passionate about bringing them to the forefront, as well as empowering and enabling others to do the same.'
